Husband, dad of two, and we're expecting another. Family is my most important ministry. By day I build Rock RMS for churches at Triumph Tech. Nights and weekends I build and teach AI work loops. Two worlds, one thread: technology that hands people their time back.
Most people don't picture church software when they imagine a dream job. I get it. I didn't either. Every job I've had, gym floor to product team, kept pointing here.
Good technology serves people. That's the whole point.
In practice: the workflows, reports, and agents inside Rock RMS that hand church staff their hours back. After hours, the same instinct - AI work loops, and the AI cohort at Triumph, where I teach teams to do it themselves.
My wife reminds me I told her my dream would be to build software for churches. (I'm not sure I believed it either.) Every season since handed me a piece of it.

Chapter 1 · The gym floor
The dream started as a gym.
I wrestled in college and wanted to be a personal trainer. The first shape of the dream was a gym - my own floor, training people.
People change one habit at a time, when someone shows up for them.
I started to wonder if sports could carry something bigger than fitness.

Chapter 2 · Eastern Europe
I took it overseas, and got humbled.
I went to Eastern Europe to use sports as a way into ministry.
I was told I didn't have enough ministry experience. It stung, and it was fair.
That sent me back to the States to actually learn the church.

Chapter 3 · Home and the church
I came home to find my roots.
Back home, I got involved in a local church and dug into the Bible for real.
Before building anything, I needed roots. This is where they grew.
I realized I needed to learn how to run a business with real systems.

Chapter 4 · Getting found
I learned to build, in business.
Learning systems led me into business, at an internet marketing agency.
I helped businesses get found online and get their message out.
If I could help businesses get found, maybe I could help build them.

Chapter 5 · The quarter-million
I learned to read the numbers.
That question turned into business consulting.
I helped a local social enterprise find a quarter-million dollars in profit.
The work was good. I still felt called to serve in a local church.

Chapter 6 · Leadership
I came back to lead, and to love it.
I joined a two-year leadership development program at my church.
I led adult ministries. I loved it.
I still carried the passion for product. I wondered if the two could cross.

Chapter 7 · Ministry meets product
Everything finally crossed paths.
I found it on a digital team building Rock RMS: ministry and product, crossing at last.
The work removes administrative burden so staff can focus on people.
Now I spend my days building for churches and nonprofits in Rock RMS.
